GREAT INTEREST TO OTOMOTİV’08 FAIR AT CNR EXPO

producers at 14. International Automotive Supply
Industry, Components, Accessories & Service
Equipment Exhibition. Organized at Istanbul CNR Expo
on 30 October - 02 November 2008, Otomotiv 2008
hosted a total number of 37.291 professional
visitors, 3,214 of which were international.
Otomotiv Fair organized by Istanbul Trade Fairs
shaped the business in the sector by providing
maximum commercial opportunities to the exhibitors.
The fair hosted 500 exhibitor companies
including Koneks, Anadolu Hidrolik, Frentek, Temel
Conta, Mutlu Aku, Aydinsan, Webasto, Ugurlu Oto Cam
and Aktas Group; and there were 125 international
exhibitors from Germany, Poland, Czech Republic,
Iran, Romania, Ukraine, Thailand, China and Taiwan.
The fair was organized at an area of 20.000
m² and Undersecretariat for Foreign Trade organized
a special “Hosted Buyer Program”. The countries
included in the program were The USA, Germany,
Argentina, Azerbaijan, UAE, Bulgaria, Algeria, Czech
Republic, China, France, The Netherlands, Iraq, The
UK, Iran, Spain, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kuwait,
Lebanon, Libya, Hungary, Egypt, Poland, Romania,
Russia, Syria, Tunisia, Ukraine, Jordan and Greece.
Small and Medium Industry Development
Institution KOSGEB also supported the fair in terms
of sqm.
The product
profile of Otomotiv 2008 included motor and
motor parts, Inner tube and tyres, transmission
components, brake systems and parts, hydraulic
and pneumatic components, suspension components,
safety components, rubber and rubber components,
chassis components and parts, casting and
casting parts, electrical equipments and
lighting systems. The visitor profile of the
show, on the other hand, included vehicle
manufacturers, importers and exporters,
wholesalers, distributors and agencies, fuel oil
station executives, OEM manufacturers,
procurement representatives, technicians and
engineers.
15. International Automotive
Supply Industry, Components, Accessories &
Service Equipment Exhibition will be organized
at CNR Expo on November 12–15, 2009.
